2 Peter 1:19-21
19 And we have something more sure, the prophetic word, to which you do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts, 20 knowing first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from one’s own interpretation. 21 For no prophecy was every produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. Something More Sure is a blog that rests not on the wisdom of its author, but rather strives to find it’s significance, relevance and… even readability in as much as each blog is focused on that which is “more sure,” God’s statement to man finally in Jesus Christ (Heb 1:1-4) and in the text of the Bible. Indeed, it is a foundation that cannot be exhausted of strength, wisdom, power or relevance in today’s world.
